The first delivery to the new plant of the E-Z-GO company in Wuxi, China has been completed by engineers of Soběslav MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská, the Industrial Products Division.
It started the production of pedal assemblies for RXV series electric golf carts, which will be assembled in the new plant of the company in the Eastern Chinese town of Wuxi.
“The American company E-Z-GO from Augusta, Georgia, has been our important foreign partner for a long time. Our Industrial Products Division produces assemblies of wheel suspensions, brake drums and other components for golf carts of the TXT series and pedal systems of the RXV series for them. The American partner is satisfied with the quality of our work and therefore we obtained the opportunity to deliver pedal systems for the new plant in China as well. We used this opportunity and from the beginning of September deliveries for the first 150 golf carts will head for the east of China,“ says Miroslav Dvořák, the General Director of MOTOR JIKOV Group.
The production plan for next year for the Chinese plant in Wuxi is 1,500 Pieces of RXV series carts, which is about 5 % of the entire volume of carts produced by the parent company in the USA.
“China is a country that exports its production in the whole world. The finding that like strong German companies Czech producers can also be successful on the saturated Chinese market is important for us in MOTOR JIKOV GROUP,“ says Miroslav Dvořák, the General Director.
