Leading world producer of branded tow assemblies orders production of a part of one of the types in Soběslav.
“At the end of last year we started negotiations with representatives of German Westfalia on mutual cooperation. The customer was so attracted by our offer that it demonstrated an immediate interest in the commencement of such cooperation and the transfer of production to the plant in Soběslav. A demanding customer audit, of the result of which our employees can be proud – MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská was included among the Westfalia suppliers with the evaluation of 98 %, preceded the production start,“ says František Řepa, the Sales Manager of the Industrial Products Divison of MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská in Soběslav assessing the new project. He added that the remaining technical, commercial and logistic details of the production transfer were finalized within the framework of the follow-up negotiations in the Czech Republic and in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany, where the production plant of the new customer is situated.
“The commencement of the cooperation with an important actor in the sphere of the automotive industry suppliers is another proof of the MOTOR JIKOV’s technical maturity and competitive strength on the demanding West European market ,“ says Řepa.
