Fostron enters market with a new service – it starts production of switchboards for machinery and equipment.
October 2013 in MOTOR JIKOV Fostron is associated with the start of a small-series production of switchboards to control machinery and technological lines. The assumption is to produce up to twenty switchboards worth CZK 1.5 million in the first year.
The switchboards production will be both for external customers as well as internal needs of the MOTOR JIKOV GROUP. The project is based on the ePLAN implementation, which enables to prepare appropriate documents for the production of the switchboards.
“From the project, we expect a sort of completion of the portfolio of our services and further consolidation of our competitive capacity. We increase our market potential, independence, and last but not least, we maximize use of our production capacities,“ says Miroslav Kníže, Director of the Single-Purpose Machines Division.
The Single-Purpose Machines Division of MOTOR JIKOV Fostron offers individual atypical solutions according to specifications of every customer regardless of dimensions, operation demands and surrounding environment; based on customer’s background documents or based on own development.
“Within the framework of the switchboards production, we provide a comprehensive process starting with design, through comprehensive design documentation using the ePLAN, production of the switchboard as such, including programming up to inspection activities. We equip the switchboards with the latest PLC systems. Declaration of Conformity is a part of the delivery,“ says Jiří Prchlík, Electro-Designer, Single-Purpose Machines Division, evaluating the comprehensive character of the services.
