The MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s. and VOŠ, SPŠ Automobile and Technical School České Budějovice have nominated expert trainer Zdeněk Struska for the __Cenu Pospolu__ for corporate instructor.
"The aim is to highlight those who, through their daily activities with young people, ensure their professional training and often contribute significantly to their upbringing and personal development. We want to recognize such instructors from companies," stated Taťána Vencovská, Content Manager of the Pospolu project.
Zdeněk Struska has been serving as a master of practical training at MOTOR JIKOV since 2010. "He communicates very well with the heads of individual departments where apprentices gain practical experience, and he has completely changed their perspective on the usefulness of internships. Now, many cannot imagine operations without young helpers," said Věra Vrchotová, Head of Human Resources Development at MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s.
The director of the partner VOŠ, SPŠ Automotive and Technical School České Budějovice, Jan Šindelář, also praises him. "A qualitative shift in collaboration occurred five years ago when MOTOR JIKOV established a training center that operates as it does today. Its management was taken over by Zdeněk Struska, and the process initiated five years ago culminated last year, when our students took their practical final exams directly in MOTOR JIKOV's facilities," said Jan Šindelář.
Master trainer praises also come from students and apprentices who gain practical experience under his supervision. "Right from the first glance, Zdeněk Struska is a likable person. It is evident that he is professionally knowledgeable and always ready to help, for example, with advice on CNC machines. If we encounter difficulties, he comes, looks, advises, all calmly. When we demonstrate that we can do it ourselves, he still patiently explains if we struggle. He has no problem with that, but as he always emphasizes: 'you have to work hard.' I would definitely recommend him for the __Cenu Pospolu__ for corporate instructor," emphasized nineteen-year-old Miroslav Solnař, apprentice in the metalworking program at VOŠ, SPŠ Automotive and Technical School České Budějovice.
The award ceremony will be part of the final conference of the Pospolu project – Support for Collaboration between Schools and Companies, focused on practical vocational training in Prague.
