Debuted on October 3rd at the PRODUCT INNOVATIONS evening at Prague's Divadlo La Fabrika—where five innovative products, including two patent premieres, were showcased—the package captivated attendees with its forward-thinking design.

"Each year, a multitude of exciting projects emerge, and it would be a shame if all that effort merely concluded with a gala and award ceremony. That's why we launched the PRODUCT IN.NOVATION event, showcasing tangible products and services that potential customers can actually acquire," stated E.ON spokesperson Vladimír Vácha.

The package, comprising a personal vehicle, the MJ05 filling unit, and CNG delivery, received the top honor at the 2012 E.ON Energy Globe Award ČR. Each of the seven competition category winners (Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Youth, Community, and Craftsmen), along with one voter for the final projects, will receive a one-year free rental of the new Citigo on compressed natural gas.

Based in South Bohemia, this group of machinery and foundry companies is committed to ecology. It received the 1st prize in the Air category at the 2011 E.ON ENERGY GLOBE AWARD ČR and is now a primary partner of the competition, continually investing in modernizing its energy sources.

The Citigo CNG Green tec emits only 79 g CO₂/km. This low figure is made possible by the use of natural gas and ŠKODA Green tec technology, incorporating features like Start-Stop, brake energy recovery, and low-rolling-resistance tires. The urban vehicle, powered by a 50 kW (68 hp) engine, consumes just 2.9 kg of natural gas per 100 km. Its range is 550 km—350 km on gas and an additional 200 km on petrol from a supplementary tank included in the vehicle.
