For the first time, the MOTOR JIKOV holding showcased itself at the Jobfair of Vysoká škola technická a ekonomická in České Budějovice. Human Resources Development Specialists from MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s., Pavlína Stifterová and Lenka Trnková, briefed students on internship opportunities within the holding companies and career prospects.
Second-year student Václav Kubák, majoring in business economics, expressed interest in internship possibilities. “If possible, I would like to work at MOTOR JIKOV during a semester-long internship as part of my specialization in business. After successfully completing my bachelor’s exams, I see myself as an employee of the company, possibly as a technician or economist,” stated student Václav Kubák.
The VŠTE Jobfair was the final event in a series of four university career fairs where MOTOR JIKOV presented itself. “We provide students with a brief overview of the holding’s profile as an engineering and foundry holding. They learn that we most frequently seek future designers, technologists, project engineers, and electrical designers. We also inform about our offerings, which include scholarships, internships on modern machinery, and opportunities to work on bachelor's and master's thesis projects on specific topics within the company’s operations,” explained Human Resources Development Specialist Pavlína Stifterová.
This year, students in Prague, Brno, and Plzeň also learned about the benefits of collaboration with MOTOR JIKOV GROUP companies.
