Employers and union representatives successfully concluded collective bargaining and reached an agreement on a new collective agreement for the period of 2016 to 2017. The new collective agreement includes several changes, such as an increased contribution to pension insurance or new benefit vouchers for employees.

"We are increasing the contribution to pension insurance for employees who have been with the company for more than three years from the current 550 CZK per month to 700 CZK per month," emphasized Miroslav Dvořák, Chairman of the Board and CEO of MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s.

Both parties agreed on a wage increase for employees. "At the MOTOR JIKOV Slévárna Foundry division, we agreed to eliminate the overtime pay in the foundry operation, with a corresponding increase in the basic salary for the affected employees," specified Iva Fantyšová, HR Director of MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s.

The new collective agreement also brings innovations in the area of social costs. The employer will continue to contribute to employee meal allowances, children's recreational activities, and provide loans for housing purposes under set conditions. Additionally, support for sports activities of employee groups and tickets to football and hockey matches will be offered. From this year, the company plans to distribute benefit vouchers (worth 500 CZK for individuals) to all employees employed within the MOTOR JIKOV GROUP for at least one year, for use in sports activities, health care, or cultural entertainment.

"Currently, we are preparing the usual booklet edition, which will be available in about a week at typical locations – with supervisors, at the HR department, and with the union organization," added Iva Fantyšová.
