Skill and time flexibility of employees at MOTOR JIKOV Fostron a.s., Single-Use Machines division, received high praise from Stephane Delgranche, Technical Director at Valeo. “The timing was absolutely incredible right from the start of the project, but the truly impressive result we achieved is simply outstanding. Our customer is very satisfied, and we have received positive feedback that benefits the entire management of Daimler,” Stéphane Delgranche commended MOTOR JIKOV Fostron a.s., Single-Use Machines division.
In March of last year, the project team led by engineer Václav Tlachac, in collaboration with Valeo, began developing one of the machines for a new technology for manufacturing condensers (air conditioning units) for Daimler vehicles. “It was a very demanding order. The technology for connecting tubes to condensers was changing. Previously, they were secured by crimping and gluing; now, a soldering system was introduced. Our team built a fully dedicated machine as the core of the line at Valeo. I greatly appreciate the efforts of the entire team, from the manufacturing workshop to programmers and engineers,” emphasized Miroslav Kníže, Director of MOTOR JIKOV Fostron a.s., Single-Use Machines division.

The entire line's project and assembly were successfully finalized through a customer audit at Valeo, leading to Stephan Delgranche expressing gratitude to all team participants, including MOTOR JIKOV Fostron a.s. “Your dedication, engagement, and motivation enabled us to set up the complete production line and environment in just two weeks. Thank you all for this achievement. I must admit, I was surprised. I didn't think we’d be this good, especially considering the state we were in last week. I am very proud to share this outcome with Andrea Heinrich, our regional director, who also wishes to thank you for this excellent work,” stated the Valeo branch manager in Žebrák.
Miroslav Kníže also praised the team: “The guys can be proud of what they’ve accomplished. They worked under great time pressure. The project’s scope kept changing and evolving, and few believed it could all be completed on time,” noted Kníže.

Valeo, a company producing products ensuring thermal comfort in vehicle cabins—such as air conditioning units, compressors, and condensers—is MOTOR JIKOV Fostron a.s., Single-Use Machines division’s largest customer. The cost of manufacturing the bespoke machine was around six million Czech crowns. “This success opens the door to acquiring at least three more machines, potentially worth up to twenty million crowns,” emphasized Kníže.
