The Single-Purpose Machines Division of MOTOR JIKOV Fostron a.s., in cooperation with renowned Japanese company Kawasaki, is installing a new technological workplace at its facility in České Budějovice. This facility will serve for testing and showcasing new procedures in the construction of single-purpose machines and entire production lines. Customers will have the opportunity to visit the new workplace at Fostron as early as this fall.
The uniqueness of this workplace lies in its ability to integrate the technologies of both companies into a sophisticated system capable of meeting even the most demanding customer requirements. A practical demonstration of robotic operation within production lines will assist both companies in attracting new clients.
“The main idea behind the establishment of this joint workplace, which we will continuously adapt according to current market needs and product development, is to directly demonstrate to customers the interconnection and operation of MOTOR JIKOV brand single-purpose machines and fixtures with Kawasaki robots in practice. We will offer highly professional comprehensive solutions for robotic technological workplaces, applicable across a wide range of industrial sectors. Customers will be able to verify the suitability of part usage for specific manipulation types, and it will be possible to make any design modifications based on individual customer requirements before starting serial production. Our goal is to help customers assemble lines that significantly enhance manufacturing efficiency,” explains Miroslav Kníže, Director of the Single-Purpose Machines Division.
The Japanese company Kawasaki was founded in the late 1940s. This industrial giant manufactures aircraft, robots, bridges, and ships, but also maintains a reputation for producing top-performance sports machines, large-capacity touring motorcycles, and cruisers.
