"We all know that today, continuous and ongoing professional development is absolutely essential for employability. At IVS facilities, we provide training in the fields of engineering and energy, automation, electrical engineering, or mechatronics, for which we have built a modern motivational workplace to bring closer the professional positions and demonstrate specific work processes of future careers. In other fields, training is provided by partner schools and educational institutions," said the director of COP Sezimovo Ústí, Ing. František Kamlach.
One of the motivational workplaces features a small power plant used to demonstrate electricity generation from renewable sources. There are also workplaces for power distribution and meter measurement, digital technology, industrial automation, or traditional and programmable home installations. "Each workplace is supplemented with a variety of teaching aids and we continue to equip them so that they are truly beneficial for the qualification enhancement of future technical specialists," adds František Kamlach.
The existence of the Informačně – vzdělávacího střediska is also welcomed by companies, especially those struggling with a shortage of technically educated professionals. Responding to labor market needs and company demands, graduates of the center can obtain or improve their professional skills.
"On behalf of MOTOR JIKOV, I would like to express support for the center. The largest subsidiary, MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská, is based nearby in Soběslav and employs more than a third of our total workforce. We have been actively supporting and promoting technical education for many years. We are a stable, prosperous company that hires people of all ages, including graduates of technical schools as well as those aged 50+, because we recognize that a diverse team adds value to the company's development. We welcome the establishment of this center, which will enable further qualification enhancement in technical fields," said Věra Vrchotová, Director of Education at MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s., regarding the opening of the center in Sezimovo Ústí.
