Prior to this, she received a regional nomination in the Sodexo Employer of the Year competition alongside nine other finalists. The HR Personality title is a longstanding individual category of the prestigious Employer Club Annual Awards. Věra Vrchotová secured the second-highest number of votes, following Miroslava Ambrožová, HR & Operations Manager at Dixons Retail SSC, and Olga Lamačková, a veteran HR Director at EY.

Beyond her role as HR Director, Věra Vrchotová is a member of the Professional Advisory Board for cooperation between schools and companies at the Vysoká škola technická a ekonomická in České Budějovice, the Industry Council at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at ZČU in Pilsen. She also serves on the Board of the South Bohemian Society for Human Resources Development and is chairwoman of the Sectoral Council for Engineering. After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, she pursued postgraduate studies in higher education pedagogy and psychology. Until 1996, she worked at JČU as a science and research technician and later as a university lecturer. In 1996, she joined MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s., a mechanical engineering and foundry company, where she has been the HR development director since 1998.
