On December 13th, Lucie witnessed the arrival of a cutting-edge technological installation from Schwelm, situated just over eight hundred kilometers away, into the Písek industrial zone. This marks the dawn of the first CNG filling station on Písek land, a milestone powered by innovation.
The container housing a high-pressure compressor, storage tanks, and control automation from the renowned manufacturer Schwelm Anlagetechnik GmbH was precisely positioned onto the station’s foundation using a specialized crane, ready to revolutionize fuel sourcing.
Electrical connections and functional tests have been postponed to the new year 2013 due to severe frosts. Motorists can expect to fuel up on affordable natural gas towards the end of January.
The public filling station will be operated by ZLINER ENERGY, a.s., based in Zlín, a provider of CNG-powered buses and minibuses for ČSAD Autobusy České Budějovice a.s. The exclusive importer and supplier of equipment in the Czech Republic is MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s. located in Soběslav.
