The division of Grey Iron Foundry of MOTOR JIKOV Foundry a.s. has successfully passed an audit, focusing on the ISO 9001 quality management system and the automotive industry requirements ISO/TS 16949.
Representatives of the certification body highly praised the established quality system and its appropriate application to production. "We confirmed the upward trend in quality from previous audits. The final report mentions a high level of corrective actions based on the achieved performance results of processes and also improvements to the entire system," states division director Radek Mach.
While the Grey Iron Foundry division has defended its certificates, awaiting the next audit in a year, its sister companies are still waiting for their system reviews. In March, the German certifying company TÜV NORD will audit MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s., in May MOTOR JIKOV Fostron a.s., and the entire certification process for this year will conclude in June with the Pressure Casting division of MOTOR JIKOV Foundry a.s.
