Blog Representatives of two regions have agreed to collaborate.

The representatives of South Bohemia and Sverdlovsk Oblast, a region of the Russian Federation, engaged in discussions on regional cooperation.

In addition to political leaders, influential representatives of prominent South Bohemian companies and business institutions participated in the debate.

"The Russian Federation presents not only a significant market for Czech companies but also vast opportunities for expansion. The interest in collaboration is mutual; however, further deepening of business ties between South Bohemia and Sverdlovsk Oblast is currently hindered by the absence of a Czech ambassador in Russia," states Miroslav Dvořák, Chairman of the Board of the South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Board and CEO of MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s.

MOTOR JIKOV, along with two other Czech-Budějovice firms, Madeta a.s. and Budějovický Budvar n.p., was selected to host the Sverdlovsk delegation. "Potential future cooperation certainly involves exploring opportunities to utilize our technologies and the field of compressed natural gas (CNG), where we demonstrate high competitiveness," adds Dvořák.
