wrote a satisfied visitor in the visitor book during the open day at MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská in Soběslav. And she was not alone. "Visitors filled more than eight pages with praise and thank-you messages. The interest in the tour was enormous, it surprised us and of course pleased us greatly," emphasized Iva Fantyšová, HR Director of MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s.
1017 visitors attended the open day at the Soběslav plant. The event could not have been missed by the Chairman of the Board and CEO of MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s., Miroslav Dvořák. "In Soběslav, there's a feeling that people have an almost personal connection to the factory. I am glad that our former employees, relatives of current employees, and possibly future employees came to visit," said Miroslav Dvořák.

Displaying modern equipment and working conditions to potential employees in the modernized plant was one of the goals of the event. MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s. is hiring for positions such as CNC machining center operators, machine workers, or setting mechanics. "Last year, we acquired a robotic automated production line worth sixty million crowns, which impressed every visitor according to their reactions. At the beginning of the tour, visitors saw a brand-new machining center where we will machine the front suspension arm for off-road vehicles by Jaguar Land Rover," emphasized Radek Mach, Director of Machining Division at MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s.

Visitors learned that MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s. employs 400 people, supplies parts for truck manufacturers Scania and MAN, components for off-road quads and golf carts from the world's largest manufacturer E-Z-GO, riveting tools, and parts for global automakers.
Besides tours, refreshments were provided free of charge, and children enjoyed various attractions such as face painting, a climbing wall, a jumping castle, and a slot car track.
