Blog New company MOTOR JIKOV Green has launched its commercial activities.

The Českobudějovice-based engineering holding company MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s. has expanded its portfolio with the new commercial joint-stock company MOTOR JIKOV GREEN. This entity has taken over the sales of small agricultural machinery produced by the Mechanization division of its sister company MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s.

The newly established MOTOR JIKOV GREEN a.s. is built on the foundations of CETEA, a company that has been operating in the market for seven years, specializing in the import and distribution of forestry and garden equipment. This merger of business activities is expected to generate revenues of approximately 250 million CZK this year.

"We are not creating something from scratch, but rather joining forces under a new brand. This opens up opportunities for further growth. Although the market is generally stagnant, we can expand at the expense of domestic and international competitors," says Miroslav Dvořák, Chairman of the Board and CEO of MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s. and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MOTOR JIKOV GREEN a.s.

Milan Koška, Chairman of the Board of MOTOR JIKOV GREEN a.s., anticipates that the company will also succeed on foreign markets, especially in Germany, Poland, and Slovakia, with both mowers and mulchers. "We have already signed a contract to supply the first thousand drum mowers in Germany," adds Milan Koška.

The product range manufactured by the Mechanization division mainly includes one- or two-drum rotary lawn mowers Robus and simpler, single-purpose machines — mowers, known under the trade names Otava, Blanice, Perla, Bella. Additionally, MOTOR JIKOV GREEN a.s. offers imported commercial products such as garden tractors, mowers, log splitters, and snow blowers. The company also maintains significant trading partnerships with the Czech retail chain Mountfield.
