Blog Motorists will soon be able to refuel with CNG on the D5 highway.

At the entrance to the industrial zone in Nýřany near Plzeň, another public CNG filling station produced by MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s. is rising. "This is an excellent location just outside Plzeň, at the exit from the D5 motorway from Prague to Rozvadov. Currently, preparations for connections and installation site are in full swing. We expect to complete the station, including all tests and inspections, by the second half of January," said Jiří Slíva, Director of MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s.

The fueling station will be unattended, equipped with a payment terminal compatible with corporate chips, CNG cards, and bank cards such as VISA and EC/MC. "The solution also includes station lighting, providing motorists with convenient access during nighttime hours," said Jaroslav Vohnout on behalf of MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s.
The core of the facility is a compressor station featuring a single compressor with a capacity of 159 cubic meters per hour and a reservoir with a geometric volume of 2,240 liters. "The station will also be ready for future increases in capacity and doubling of the reservoir volume. The double-sided dispensing stand will be equipped with two hoses with NGV1 fittings and one with an NGV2 fitting," added Jaroslav Vohnout.
MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s. plans to complete additional CNG stations next year. "The Nýřany station is part of a series of planned CNG projects, with at least ten scheduled for 2015," emphasized Jiří Slíva.

In November, MOTOR JIKOV opened its third public CNG filling station in South Bohemia, located in Český Krumlov. The installation of the internal station MJ Variant Plus in the lower area of MOTOR JIKOV in České Budějovice is currently underway before completion.
