The rapid growth of MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s. is accompanied by an increasing demand for employees. Currently, the company in Soběslav is seeking workers for positions in CNG assembly, turning on lathes, machining centers, as well as in the design and quality departments.
"Since the economic crisis of 2008 and 2009, we have tripled our sales. Such dynamic development is unparalleled not only in our region. As the company grows and acquires new orders and projects, it naturally needs to hire new employees," stated Jiří Slíva, Director of the Special Machining and Manufacturing division at MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s.
The company is currently looking for an assembly worker for CNG due to increased production capacity. This role involves simple and technically demanding procedures in assembling CNG units. "For this position, we require manual dexterity, technical skill, independence, and an interest in working with the CNG team. The work is in a single-shift operation," informed Iva Fantyšová, HR Director at MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s.
Three applicants can find jobs in Soběslav as turners on lathes, where responsibilities include machining operations, measuring workpieces, maintaining machining equipment, and performing maintenance. Candidates should be familiar with technical documentation of machining operations and be trained in a technical field.
Two vacancies are available for CNC machine operators on machining centers, performing complex operations with tool selection on a horizontal machining center with two interchangeable pallets. A technical education is required, and experience with similar equipment is advantageous. This is a shift work position.
"We are seeking an administrator for the design department to assist with preparing technical documentation of products. The position is intended for a high school graduate with technical education; experience in design is welcome. We are also looking for a quality department officer who will handle customer complaints, prepare for audits, and generate quality reports. The ideal candidate should have a high school or university technical background, good knowledge of English, and industry experience," added Iva Fantyšová.
