We now know the finalists of the E.ON Energy Globe Award ČR 2012 competition. The top project will receive a MOTOR JIKOV COMPACT MJ05 CNG refueling station from our company, which helped us secure victory in the Air category last year.
The E.ON Energy Globe Award is a prestigious international recognition in the field of environment. In the Czech Republic, the fourth edition of the competition is reaching its climax. It selects and promotes the most interesting projects that conserve energy, protect nature, and safeguard the environment. The competition is divided into seven categories: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Youth, Municipality, and Craftsman. The first five categories have an international scope, while unique categories for Municipality and Craftsman have been added in the Czech Republic. The competition is open to everyone – businesses, individuals, non-governmental organizations, municipalities, and schools. The condition is that the project is already implemented or at least in the final stages of completion.
The international expert jury has already evaluated all 165 submitted projects and nominated the top three in each of the seven categories. From the twenty-one finalists, the overall winner will be decided by public online voting. Voting is underway and runs until September 16; everyone has the opportunity to support their favorite at www.energyglobe.cz. The winner will be announced on October 4. The project will receive numerous awards and qualify for the global final of the Energy Globe Award 2012. During the award ceremony, televised live, our company will be represented by its CEO, Ing. Miroslav Dvořák. After last year's participation and victory, MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s. has become the main partner of the competition this year.

That is why the overall winner this year will also receive this top-tier filling station valued at nearly one hundred seventy thousand crowns,” stated the company’s CEO, Miroslav Dvořák.
The international jury selected three finalists from 165 submitted projects. It is encouraging to see that many projects come from our region. The televised recording of the final evening can be watched on October 11 at 9:00 p.m. on ČT1.
