The MORIKA plant, approximately 500 km north of TOKYO, is the main assembly facility for the entire YAMABIKO Corporation group. Here, nearly the full range of ECHO and SHINDAIWA handheld power tools is assembled. Extraordinary emphasis is placed on defect control, achieving a 100% success rate in identifying faults—9 defects out of 1,000 units. The complex includes a vast assembly and manufacturing hall where components requiring extreme precision, like pistons with guaranteed tolerances of 5-15 microns—unmatched by any other manufacturer—are finished. The facility also features a line for plastic parts production through various technologies such as mold casting, blow molding, and stamping. Multiple dozens of assembled units leave the line every minute for final inspection, with each machine fully tested and calibrated. The main logistics center is also situated on site.
The visit to YAMABIKO’s manufacturing facilities confirmed expectations of Japanese precision, organization, and meticulousness. The entire production process is self-sufficient, with YAMABIKO manufacturing 99% of its components internally—ranging from engine parts to plastic covers and tanks. These factors culminate in top-tier products from ECHO and SHINDAIWA, with MOTOR JIKOV GREEN a.s. acting as the exclusive importer for the Czech and Slovak markets.+125
