Blog Miroslav Dvořák Reprises Leadership at AutoSAP

The CEO of MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s., Miroslav Dvořák, achieved a significant victory in the election of the board of directors of the AutoSAP Automotive Industry Association. With a record-breaking voter turnout, a total of 94 representatives from member companies cast their ballots. Miroslav Dvořák, who has served as vice president of AutoSAP since 2015, received all 94 votes.
The Automotive Industry Association (AutoSAP) is a legal entity association committed to fostering collaboration among automotive industry companies and promoting their overall development. Its members include vehicle manufacturers, component and accessory producers, and organizations engaged in research, trade, consulting, and various services related to the production of road vehicles and their parts.
Currently, the association comprises 144 member companies, whose turnover accounts for a quarter of the Czech Republic’s industrial output. The automotive industry contributes nearly one-tenth to the country’s GDP.
Since the end of the year, Miroslav Dvořák has been active as vice president of the association and vice chairman of the suppliers division. "The automotive industry is a driving force of the Czech economy, so it’s logical that it must have a strong association that effectively advocates for its interests. The majority of our membership consists of automotive supplier companies. AutoSAP’s activities include research, development, testing firms, and higher education institutions," he emphasized.

Key priorities of the association include the development of technical education and a continuous focus on research, development, and innovation. AutoSAP plays an indispensable role in advocating shared interests to the government. “We have been very active through the leadership of President Bohdan Wojnara in high-level negotiations with government officials on critical economic issues, such as the form of the Kurzarbeit scheme and other measures to stimulate the economy during the coronavirus crisis,” Dvořák highlighted.
“autoSAP is actively involved in legislative processes in the Czech Republic and the European Union, which makes it easier for me to access crucial information essential for managing a company,” Miroslav Dvořák concluded.
