Students of the Faculty of Economics at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice attended a lecture and practical session at MOTOR JIKOV as part of the course on __Quality Management__.
Thirty-one second-year students enrolled in the subsequent study program in __Management and Business Economics__ were introduced to quality management by __Luboš Kudrna__, Quality Manager.
"He explained the concept of quality at __MOTOR JIKOV GROUP__, focusing on technical inspection activities, overall quality economics with cost evaluation, and introduced the __SPC Quality Monitoring System__ and __FMEA__ analysis of defect origins and their consequences," stated Luboš Kudrna.

"Unfortunately, students from the Faculty of Economics rarely gain practical experience in fields like manufacturing. They often graduate without technical fundamentals. Therefore, we aim, at least through practical exercises, to introduce students to real-world companies, including __MOTOR JIKOV__. We also plan to expand collaboration with firms so that economics students can have hands-on experience for three weeks instead of just one or two hours," explained __Dagmar Bednářová__, course instructor for __Quality Management__ at the University of South Bohemia.
The company __MOTOR JIKOV GROUP__'s technical education supervisor, __Radomír Hrouda__, provided students with detailed information about the organization and conducted a tour of the manufacturing facilities.
