Practically 100% participation was reported by the organizers of the reunion of former MOTOR JIKOV employees, who are now retired. Traditionally, the General Director of MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s., Miroslav Dvořák, also attended to update former colleagues on the company's latest news.
“I very much enjoy participating in these gatherings. I appreciate that you honor traditions, and I strive to do the same. I used to think that the company was mainly about trade and the business conducted at the moment, but the principles have remained unchanged for over a hundred years with MOTOR JIKOV. Your children have often become members of the large MOTOR JIKOV family, which I truly value. I also try to involve my children in our business,” said General Director Miroslav Dvořák to the attendees.

“I'm interested in what’s new in the company, what they are manufacturing today. Both my husband and I worked at MOTOR JIKOV,” emphasized retiree Danuše Pilsová. Along with 130 other participants, she was reassured that the company is thriving. “We work and grow. We continue to manufacture mainly for the automotive industry, but our production also includes, for example, seven thousand lawnmowers annually. I am pleased that we managed to launch a new facility and provide jobs to people in Nové Hradec,” highlighted Miroslav Dvořák at the gathering.

From the company representatives, the meeting was attended by Jan Janoušek, chairman of the basic organization from the union KOVO MOTOR JIKOV a.s. in České Budějovice, and his predecessor Jitka Pincová.
