Blog College students are interested in a career at MOTOR JIKOV

Potential employees were approached at the iKariéra job fair at ČVUT by Daniela Radevová and Pavlína Stifterová, HR development specialists at MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s. "Career fairs are the best opportunity for sharing information about the company with students. Essentially, as soon as we returned, an interested candidate contacted us, wanting to try internships or part-time work in MOTOR JIKOV Fostron's engineering department. His résumé was immediately brought to the attention of the directors of both Fostron divisions," emphasized Daniela Radevová.

Visitors to the 21st annual iKariéra fair are primarily students and future graduates, especially from technical universities in Prague. "This year, up to six thousand students were expected to attend, and at our booth, we noticed a significant increase in interest compared to previous years. Students most frequently inquired about employment opportunities after graduation, options for developing diploma projects, and possibilities for internships and part-time work during their studies," added Daniela Radevová. The iKariéra fair is currently the most important HR event in the Czech Republic.

MOTOR JIKOV will continue engaging with university students in March at two more events. "These include the Company Representatives Meeting with students called 'Company Day' at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at VUT in Brno, and the 20th Job Fair at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, which will take place on Wednesday, March 18, at the university campus in Pilsen-Bory," informed Pavlína Stifterová.

Last year, nearly a thousand students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and other faculties of VUT in Brno visited the Company Day event in Pilsen, where interest in the Pilsen Job Fair, attracting around four thousand students, is even higher.
