The fiftieth public compressed natural gas (CNG) filling station in the Czech Republic officially begins its trial, non-public operation today (Thursday, December 19).
Representatives from MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s., the project investor, Adast, the dispenser stand supplier, and Schwelm Anlagentechnik, the technology provider, are inaugurating the station in Jindřichův Hradec, near the E551 exit towards Pelhřimov.
"A comprehensive configuration of all control systems is underway. We are transitioning the station into trial, non-public operation; it is expected to be fully operational from January 2014," states Jaroslav Vohnout, representative of MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s.
This is already the second publicly accessible CNG filling station in the South Bohemian Region with the MOTOR JIKOV logo. The first has been operational since April of this year in Písek. Both stations serve passenger vehicles, delivery vans, trucks, and buses, operating continuously without interruption.
