In the category of transportation innovations at the Czech Energy and Ecological Project 2013 competition, the CNG refueling station MOTOR JIKOV MJ Variant Plus is vying for public support.
The MJ Variant Plus was developed in 2013 by MOTOR JIKOV and is designed for rapid filling of compressed natural gas into all types of vehicles.
“This device, characterized by technical flexibility, easy installation, and minimal construction requirements, is intended for users with a CNG consumption of up to sixty thousand cubic meters per year. This capacity for producing environmentally friendly and economically advantageous fuel is suitable for operating a small vehicle fleet and can serve as a cost-effective in-house filling station,” said Jiří Slíva, Director of the Special Machining and Production Division at MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s.
The entire MJ Variant Plus unit is housed in a technological concrete container. Installation requires only preparing concrete pads for container placement and connecting to natural gas and electrical supplies.
The goal of the twelfth annual Czech Energy and Ecological Project 2013 is to showcase structures, projects, and innovations that significantly reduce the energy intensity of the Czech Republic, enhance the efficiency of energy sources, and contribute to environmental improvement.
The MJ Variant Plus device has been entered into the public vote category for transportation innovation through energy-efficient propulsion systems.
