Blog CNG fillers from MOTOR JIKOV are headed to Belgium

MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s. is set to deliver __one hundred compact CNG fillers MJ Compact 05__ to the Belgian market over the next two years. The first five units already reached Belgium at the end of last year, expanding the company's CNG assembly capacity and creating new employment opportunities.

“By January and February, we already have firm orders for additional units. We've observed international interest in our small CNG filling stations for several years, and we're proud to enable Belgian motorists to save the environment and money with our product. The main advantage of __MJ Compact 05__ is that it allows affordable compressed natural gas refueling right at home or in company premises, as well as enabling vehicle use on CNG where public filling stations are inaccessible,” said Miroslav Dvořák, CEO of MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s.

“Our long-standing Dutch partner won a 2014 tender issued by the major Belgian natural gas distributor __EANDIS__, including supplies of small CNG filling stations for direct refueling. After half a year of negotiations, we became the main contractor for the project,” explains Jiří Slíva, Director of Special Machining and Production at MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s. Since 2011, MOTOR JIKOV has collaborated with this Dutch partner on various projects including the sale of __MJ Compact 05__. Between 2012 and 2013, they installed fourteen units in the Netherlands. Last year, they started penetrating the Belgian market, installing four of our __MJ Compact 05__ units,” said Karol Suchár, CNG Sales Officer at MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s.

In connection with the expansion of CNG assemblies, MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s. in Soběslav is recruiting employees for assembly of units. “They will handle both simple and technically complex assembly procedures. We are looking for manually skilled and technically proficient individuals interested in working within a CNG team. Additionally, we're hiring for machine operator positions on lathes, CNC machining centers, as well as positions for a design administrator and quality department officer,” stated Iva Fantyšová, Head of HR at MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s.
