Blog Business Gathering at the New Information and Education Center

The MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s. participated in January's meeting of member companies of the South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce in Tábor.

The event was held at the newly reconstructed information and education center in the South Bohemian region, located at the Center for Vocational Training (COP) in Sezimovo Ústí.

The business representatives were welcomed by Jiří Macháček, Chairman of the Tábor District Council of the South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce. Representatives from COP and the Tábor Employment Office then introduced the attendees to the center’s activities, which will commence operations on May 1st of this year. The center aims to improve accessibility and quality of information, consulting, and training services for job seekers, primarily from the South Bohemian region. Connected to the regional branch of the Czech Republic Employment Office, the center will build upon existing employment services, expand them, and tailor them to specific industry needs.

“The center's staff will provide clients with comprehensive information about job vacancies and opportunities for education or retraining, particularly in the engineering and energy sectors, where companies are experiencing a shortage of qualified personnel. Job seekers will also be able to search for specific information on-site using computers with internet access. Our goal is to assist people from vulnerable groups, such as the long-term unemployed, graduates and youth, persons with disabilities, individuals over 50, and employees at risk of redundancy, to find employment,” said COP Sezimovo Ústí Director František Kamlach during the business meeting.
