With the sponsorship support of MOTOR JIKOV, two teams competed in this year's high school competition. ST RACING TEAM from Strakonice became the absolute winner and secured the title of Czech Republic Champion, while the Čech-Budějovice ALFA TEAM achieved a commendable sixth place.
In the sixth edition, a total of 11 teams from Bohemia, Slovakia, and Poland participated. The overall winner of the competition, composed of students from VOŠ, SPŠ, and SOŠ trades and services in Strakonice, also received awards for the best design and the fastest racing model. All team members received a three-year bachelor's scholarship to the University of New York in Prague.
“In this competition, we were pleased to sponsor two schools. The students demonstrated excellent skills. They designed, constructed, and after successful testing, manufactured their own Formula 1 racing model. It was another great opportunity for us to showcase that engineering is a fascinating field full of great possibilities and that we value technical thinking, ingenuity, and creativity,” says the chairman of the board and CEO of MOTOR JIKOV Group a.s., Miroslav Dvořák.
